Integration: Connecting Trakstar Learn and Shopify
You can connect your Trakstar Learn and Shopify accounts together! This will allow you to sell your courses in your Learn account and automatically enroll your customers as trainees.
Below is a short sample demo that shows the workflow of a customer purchasing a Trakstar Learn client's course via their Shopify store. In this example, once the customer selects and purchases the course from the Shopify store they are automatically added as a trainee in the Trakstar Learn client's account and given access to the course.
The customer would first set up a Shopify site (if they don't already have one) and create products for the courses they want to sell. Each product in Shopify should use the course ID as the SKU, which is what links the purchase to the correct course in Learn.
Once that's in place, any user who purchases a course through Shopify will automatically be:
- Provisioned as a user in their Learn environment
- Enrolled in the corresponding course(s) tied to that SKU
From the end user's perspective:
- They'll receive a purchase receipt from Shopify
- They'll also receive an invite email from Learn with access to the course
