Integration: Connecting Trakstar Learn and Shopify

You can integrate Trakstar Learn with Shopify to sell your courses through your Shopify store. When a customer purchases a course, they are automatically added as a Trainee in Trakstar Learn and enrolled in the corresponding course.

How the Integration Works

After the integration is configured:

1. A customer purchases a course from your Shopify store.
2. Shopify sends the purchase information to Trakstar Learn.
3. The customer is automatically:
   • Provisioned as a new Trainee (if they do not already exist)
   • Enrolled in the course associated with the purchased product

No manual enrollment is required.

Configure Your Shopify Store

Before the integration can be used:

1. Create a Shopify store, if you don't already have one.
2. Create a product in Shopify for each course you want to sell.
3. Set the SKU for each Shopify product to the corresponding Course ID in Trakstar Learn.

The Course ID stored in the product SKU is what links a Shopify purchase to the correct course in Trakstar Learn.

Customer Experience

After completing a purchase:

• The customer receives a purchase confirmation from Shopify.
• Trakstar Learn sends the customer an invitation email with instructions for accessing the course.
• The customer can then sign in to Trakstar Learn and begin the course.
