Workflow: Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn

The Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn workflow streamlines employee onboarding by allowing you to send hired candidates directly from Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn. This provides a seamless transition from recruiting to onboarding and training.

Before You Begin

To configure the integration, you will need:

  • A Trakstar Learn API key
  • A Trakstar Hire Super Admin account

If you do not already have a Learn API key, contact learn@trakstar.com to request one.

Connect Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn

  1. Sign in to Trakstar Hire as a Super Admin.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > Apps & Integrations.
  3. Select Trakstar Learn.
  4. Click Connect to Trakstar Learn.
  5. Enter your Trakstar Learn API key.
  6. Save the connection.

After the accounts are successfully connected, the Try Trakstar Learn button changes to Add to Trakstar Learn, confirming that the integration is active.

Send Hired Candidates from Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn

After the Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn integration has been configured, you can send hired candidates directly to Trakstar Learn to begin the onboarding process.

Add a Candidate to Trakstar Learn

  1. Mark the candidate as Hired in Trakstar Hire.
  2. Click Add to Trakstar Learn.
  3. Review and complete the candidate information in the pop-up window.
  4. Click Add to Trakstar Learn to confirm.

The candidate will be added to Trakstar Learn on their scheduled start date. An activation email is automatically sent to the email address provided in the candidate's profile.

Tip: Use the candidate's work email address instead of their personal email address so they can access their learning account on their first day.

What Happens Next?

Once the candidate is added to Trakstar Learn:

  • A new learner account is created (if one does not already exist).
  • The learner receives an activation email.
  • The learner can begin any assigned onboarding or training after activating their account.
