Integration: Connect Ceridian Dayforce to Trakstar Learn
The Trakstar Learn integration with Ceridian Dayforce allows you to automate adding, updating, archiving, and rehiring employees in Learn using Ceridian Dayforce as your source of truth. Once the integration is in place, any changes made in Ceridian Dayforce will automatically sync to Trakstar Learn as changes are made in Ceridian Dayforce.
The following fields of data will be created and updated when an employee is hired or updated in Ceridian Dayforce:
- First Name*
- Last Name*
- Email Address*
- Status – Terminated/Active
- external_id*
* denotes a required field
In addition to the above, the following fields of data can also be pulled over from Ceridian Dayforce as custom fields in Learn to help you segment your employees. These can be turned on or off:
- Department**
- Pay Group**
- Location**
- FLSA Exemption**
- Employment Status**
- Pay Type**
- Pay Class**
- Org Level(s)**
To use this integration, you must have at least one available custom field to populate the external_id data from Ceridian Dayforce, and additional available custom fields for any of the above eight optional fields.
**Using one of the above 8 optional fields, we can automatically add your employees to groups in Learn to help you assign courses automatically. For example – If you choose Department, you will specify a group for each department in your organization. All new hires will be automatically added to the appropriate group, allowing them access to the courses attached. The 8 fields can also be used to exclude groups of employees from getting processed through the integration.
