Integration: Workday to Trakstar Learn
The Trakstar Learn integration with Workday enables you to automatically sync employee data from your HRIS into Learn. This ensures that your learning management platform always reflects the most current employee information—without manual entry or spreadsheets.
Once configured, the integration will run nightly, importing updates from Workday into Learn, including new hires, updates to employee details, and deactivations.
What the Integration Does
The integration is a one-way sync from Workday to Trakstar Learn. It updates Learn with employee information from Workday on a recurring nightly schedule.
Use cases include:
- Automatically onboarding new hires
- Keeping job titles, departments, Locations, etc… up to date
- Deactivating employees who have exited
- Ensuring SSO credentials and usernames remain consistent
Fields Synced from Workday
The following fields will be created and updated for each employee when a change is detected in Workday:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Employee Number
- Username (if used for SSO)
Custom Fields via Field Mapping
The integration can also map specific fields from Workday to Custom Fields in Learn, enabling you to dynamically segment your workforce. These can be based on:
- Department
- Job Title
- Location
- Data from your Custom Fields
- And more
This is useful for bulk actions and reporting
