How do I create a catalog?
ARTICLE 1: Create a Catalog
Catalogs allow you to group related courses so trainees can browse and self-enroll instead of being individually invited to each course.
Create a Catalog
- From the left navigation menu, click Catalogs.
-
Click Create Catalog in the upper-right corner.

- In the Create Catalog window, enter the catalog details, including:
- Catalog Name
- Catalog Description
- The Courses you want to include
- Choose whether to make the catalog available on the Trainee Dashboard so trainees can self-enroll.
- If desired, specify which Groups are allowed to self-enroll through the catalog.
- Click Add Courses to add your selected courses to the catalog.

The catalog is now available for further configuration and sharing.
What Are Catalogs Used For?
Catalogs simplify course distribution by allowing trainees to browse available training and enroll themselves, reducing the need for administrators to manually invite users to individual courses.
Catalogs are commonly used for:
- Optional internal training
- Professional development libraries
- Customer or partner training
- Self-service learning programs
Once you've created a catalog, you can make it available to internal employees, external learners, or both.
Share a Catalog with Internal Trainees
Internal catalogs are ideal for optional training that employees can browse and enroll in on their own.
- Open the desired Catalog.
- Click Edit.
- Scroll to Public Catalog Page Access.
- Configure the catalog so existing trainees can access and enroll in the available courses.
- Copy the catalog URL if you want to:
- Email it to trainees.
- Post it on your company intranet.
- Share it through another internal communication channel.
Trainees can also access available catalogs directly from their Trainee Dashboard, where they can browse or search for catalogs and enroll in courses that interest them.

Share a Catalog with External Learners
Catalogs can also be used for customer, partner, or other external training programs.
- Open the desired Catalog.
- Click Edit.
- Scroll to Public Catalog Page Access.
- Set the catalog to Public: Anyone with a link can register.
- Copy and share the public catalog URL.
Anyone with the link can register, self-enroll as a trainee, and access the courses included in the catalog.
You can also share the catalog URL through websites, emails, or social media, depending on your organization's training strategy.
