Adding YouTube clips to modules

You can add public YouTube videos directly to a module to supplement your training content without uploading a video file.

Add a YouTube Video

1. From the left navigation menu, select Modules.
2. Open the module you want to edit.
3. Select the Content tab.
4. Click Add and Arrange Content.
5. Navigate to the location where you want to insert the YouTube video.
6. Click the + Insert button between the slides where you want the video to appear.
7. Select YouTube.
8. Paste the full YouTube video URL into the field provided.
9. Click Done.

The YouTube video is added to your module and will appear in the selected location.

Important: The YouTube video must be public and cannot have sharing restrictions. Videos that are private, unlisted with restricted access, or otherwise limited may not play correctly within the module.

Replace an Existing YouTube Video

If you need to update a YouTube video already included in a module:

1. Open the module and select Content.
2. Click Add and Arrange Content.
3. Select See Slide Detail in the upper-right corner.
4. Locate and select the YouTube slide from the list on the left.
5. Click Change YouTube URL.
6. Paste the new YouTube video URL into the Update YouTube Video window.
7. Click Done.

The new video is saved immediately, and the change is applied automatically.
