Copying a module

Copying a module allows you to reuse existing training content without rebuilding it from scratch. When you copy a module, the new module contains the same content, settings, quizzes, surveys, and handouts as the original. You can then edit the copied module independently.

Copy a Module

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Modules.
  2. Open the module you want to copy.
  3. Click Module Actions.
  4. Select Copy Module.
  5. Enter a name for the new module.
  6. Confirm the copy.

A new module is created with the duplicated content and is available in your Modules list, where it can be edited without affecting the original module.

What Is Copied?

When you copy a module, the following items are duplicated:

  • Uploaded content
  • Quizzes
  • Surveys
  • Audio recordings
  • Handouts
  • Module settings

The copied module becomes a separate module. Changes made to the copy do not affect the original module.

Next Steps

After copying the module, you can:

  • Rename the module.
  • Update or replace content.
  • Modify quizzes or surveys.
  • Add the copied module to one or more courses.
  • Invite trainees once the course is ready.
