What file types does Trakstar Learn support?
Trakstar Learn supports a variety of document, video, and eLearning file types that can be converted into web-based course content. You can also combine multiple file types within a single module to create engaging learning experiences.
Supported File Types
Trakstar Learn supports the following content types:

| Microsoft PowerPoint | Should not contain animations, audio, or embedded video. |
| Microsoft Word | Supports Microsoft Word documents, including Office 2010 formats. |
| Adobe PDF | Adobe Acrobat PDF files are supported. |
| Video Files | Supports major video formats, including .mov , .mp4 , .avi , and others. |
| YouTube Videos | Add YouTube videos using their video links. |
| GoToMeeting Recordings | Upload GoToMeeting recordings as course content. |
| Adobe Captivate | Supports Adobe Captivate 7 and later. |
| Articulate Storyline | Supports Articulate Storyline, including Storyline 360. |
Build Modules with Multiple Content Types
You can combine supported file types within the same module to create interactive training. In addition to uploaded content, you can also add:
- Quizzes
- Surveys
File Size Limits
Each file must be smaller than 1 GB to upload successfully.
Audio Support
You can enhance PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and PDFs by:
- Recording audio directly within Trakstar Learn.
- Uploading audio created with external recording software.
File Naming Requirements
Important: File names cannot contain special characters or symbols. Rename files before uploading if necessary.
