Changing the cover slide of a module

The cover slide is the image learners see before launching a module or course. You can choose any eligible slide within a module to serve as its cover, allowing you to highlight the most appropriate content instead of using the default first slide.

Change a Module Cover Slide

1. From the left navigation menu, select Modules.
2. Open the module you want to update.
3. Go to the Content tab.
4. Click Add and Arrange Content.
5. Locate the slide you want to use as the cover.
6. Select the slide and click See Slide Detail.
7. Click Set Cover Slide.
8. Click Done to save your changes.

The selected slide becomes the default cover image for the module.

Change a Course Cover Slide

A course cover image is based on the cover slide of one of the modules included in the course.

To update the course cover:

1. Open the module that contains the slide you want to display.
2. Set the desired slide as the module's cover slide.
3. Save the module.
4. Return to the course and verify that the updated cover image is displayed where applicable.

Tips

• Choose a slide that clearly represents the module's content.
• Avoid using slides with excessive text, as they may be difficult to read in thumbnail previews.
• If you later change your content, you can update the cover slide at any time by selecting a different slide in the arranger.
