Publishing Articulate Storyline 360 SCORM content
To ensure the best compatibility with Trakstar Learn, publish your Articulate Storyline 360 course using the recommended settings below. These settings help ensure your course tracks learner progress and completion correctly.
Step 1: Set the Story Size
Before publishing, configure the course size.
- Open your Storyline 360 project.
- Select Story Size.
- Use the default Storyline dimensions.
Using the default size helps your course display correctly across a variety of screen sizes and devices.
Step 2: Configure the Player
- Open Player.
- Select the Options section.
- (Optional) Enable Scale player to fill browser window.
This setting allows the course player to automatically resize based on the learner's browser window. While recommended, it is not required.
Step 3: Publish for an LMS
When you're ready to publish:
- Select Publish.
- Choose LMS from the publishing options.
- Enable Include HTML5 output.
- Set the LMS standard to SCORM 1.2.
Trakstar Learn supports SCORM 1.2 packages for Storyline content.
Step 4: Configure Reporting and Tracking
Select Reporting and Tracking before publishing.
Reporting
Under the Reporting tab:
- Set LMS Reporting to Passed/Failed.
Tracking
Choose one of the following tracking methods:

|---|---|
| Course without a quiz | Track using the number of slides viewed |
| Course with a quiz | Track using quiz result and select your quiz results slide |
Selecting the appropriate tracking option ensures learner completion is reported correctly to Learn.
Step 5: Publish the Course
After confirming all settings:
- Return to the main publishing screen.
- Click Publish.
- When publishing is complete, create a .zip package of the published output.
The resulting .zip file is the package that will be uploaded into Trakstar Learn.

After publishing your Storyline 360 course as a SCORM 1.2 package, you're ready to upload it into Trakstar Learn.
Upload the Published Package
- Publish your Storyline 360 course using the recommended LMS settings.
- Create a .zip file containing the published output.
- Open Trakstar Learn.
- Upload the .zip file as your module content.
The uploaded .zip package is the version learners will launch within Trakstar Learn.
