Integration: UKG Pro to Trakstar Learn

The Trakstar Learn integration with UKG Pro allows you to automate adding, updating, archiving, and rehiring employees in Learn using UKG Pro as your source of truth. Once the integration is in place, any changes made in UKG Pro will automatically sync to Trakstar Learn every three hours, ensuring that your Trakstar Learn environment is kept up to date without additional data entry.

The following required fields of data will be created and updated when an employee is hired or updated in UKG Pro:

  • First Name
  •  Last Name
  • Employee Number 
  • Email Address

The employee number must exist for all employees and be unique, requiring an available custom field in Learn.

In addition to the above, the following fields of data can also be pulled over from UKG Pro as custom fields in Learn to help you segment your employees, creating custom groups in Learn that can allow you to assign courses automatically:

  • Org Level 1
  • Org Level 2
  • Org Level 3
  • Org Level 4
  • Work Location
  • Job Group

For example - If you choose Department, you will create a group for each department in your organization. All new hires will be automatically added to the appropriate group, allowing them access to the courses attached to their group!  Learn more about group auto-enrollment in Learn here.
