Workflows: Connecting Trakstar Products

If your organization uses multiple Trakstar products, you can provide users with a seamless login experience by configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) for each product.

Once users authenticate through your organization's Identity Provider (IdP), they can move between Trakstar Learn, Perform, and Hire without signing in again.

Set Up Single Sign-On

Configure SSO for each Trakstar product used by your organization:

• Trakstar Learn
• Trakstar Perform
• Trakstar Hire

After SSO has been configured, have your users bookmark the direct login URL for each product.

Replace the placeholders below with your organization's account information:

After signing in to one product through SSO, users can navigate to the other Trakstar products without being prompted to sign in again.

Find Your Account Name or Namespace

Learn and Hire

Your account name appears in the URL after you sign in.

For example:

https://happyfactory.learn.trakstar.com

In this example, the account name is happyfactory.

Perform

Your namespace is typically included in the login link provided in your welcome email.

You can also share this direct login URL with users so they do not need to manually enter the company namespace when signing in.

Best Practices

To make accessing Trakstar products even easier:

• Add your Learn and Hire URLs to the Welcome Message in Trakstar Perform.
• Ask your IT team to add the product links to your organization's SSO launchpad or intranet.

Connect Trakstar Products with Built-In Workflows

Trakstar includes built-in workflows that allow information to move automatically between products, helping streamline hiring, onboarding, learning, and performance management.

Hire to Learn

The Hire to Learn workflow allows you to send hired candidates directly from Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Learn.

Once transferred:

• A learner account is created in Trakstar Learn.
• The new employee can begin onboarding and assigned training.
• Links are available from the candidate's final hiring stage to access their Learn record.

Perform to Learn

The Perform to Learn workflow allows managers to assign Trakstar Learn courses directly from Trakstar Perform using Training Measurements.

Managers can:

1. Select Training Measurement as the measurement type.
2. Choose a Learn course from the available list.
3. Assign the course to an employee.

The assigned course becomes linked to the employee's performance measurement, allowing both managers and employees to monitor training progress directly from Trakstar Perform.
