Integrations: DocuSign to Trakstar Learn

Trakstar Learn’s integration with DocuSign allows you to include a signature process in your learning courses easily.

What is it?

The integration between Trakstar Learn and DocuSign allows you to create a module in your courses that will trigger DocuSign to send a template to your learners, prompting for a signature. The integration will notify you once the document is signed and the module and course are updated accordingly.

How do I set it up?

1.      First, you will need a DocuSign account with one or more document templates you want to send to your learners during their course.

2.      Reach out to the Trakstar support team – learn@trakstar.com – and ask for the DocuSign integration. You will be connected with an integration specialist who will assist you in getting set up.

3.      Once the integration is set up, you can create an In-Person module that includes a field for the template ID from DocuSign. This field tells the integration which template should be sent once the learner has reached this module in their course.

That’s it. The integration specialist will walk you through the entire process and answer any questions.

Q: Do I need a DocuSign account to make this integration work?

A: Yes, you should already have a DocuSign account set up and must build out your document templates before using the integration.

Q: Can I use different document templates for different courses?

A: Yes, you can create as many templates as you need and modules for each template you want to use. Add this module to any course where you require a specific document to be signed. The module with this template ID can be used in multiple courses if necessary.

Q: Does Trakstar Learn store the document in my account?

A: No, Trakstar Learn only captures the result of the signature by giving the module a passing score once the document is signed. The document storage will happen within Docusign.
